Why we became a greek-lettered organization
We became a Greek-lettered organization as a means to fulfill Jesus Christ’s Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). The sorority’s purpose is to see women of God who are filled with the Holy Spirit impact the campus by making disciples. Additionally, they will inform the masses of Biblical principles and lift up a standard in the Greek community. Our heart is to provide women with sisterhood by demonstrating the true love of Christ while challenging professing Christians in the Greek system to serve God and to live a life worthy of God’s calling. We desire to see all in the Greek system come to Christ.With these desires in mind, there is no discrimination in the Life message. It is for the Greek and the non-Greek alike. All Christians should have a desire to see lives changed. Any woman of God would want to see women's lives changed. In addition, the ladies of Alpha Epsilon Omega Christian sorority would like to see other sorority members' lives changed by the power of God.
"Public Ministry" is one way that we share the gospel through our testimonies.
1. We are not an alternative to a secular sorority.
Although some christian sororities present themselves as an alternative to joining a secular sorority, we do not. [See mission and objectives]
2. We are not a social or service sorority.
While we do socialize and perform community service, our primary focus is the ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ within the greek community.
3. We are not a club or campus ministry.
Our members hold leadership positions in various clubs and ministries BEFORE being considered for membership in AEO.
4. We do not allow members of other sororities to apply for membership (with the exception of merit fraternities).
5. We do not invite all Christian women to enjoy the benefits of membership.
Membership applications are available to anyone who requests one, but the criteria for acceptance is not such that every applicant will receive an invitation into the intake process.
